As always, Ginger salon is committed to providing a safe and healthy workplace.

UPDATE 5/14/21:

Dear Salon Guest,


According to HIPPA, it is our salon policy not to share any of our personal health information (including vaccinations) with anyone, including each other. We are united as a salon and respect everyone's individual choice. Please respect people's health privacy as we will yours. Masks are not required; however, for your individual comfort, we have them upon request. If requested, your stylist will wear a mask while interacting with you to make your appointment. All sanitation procedures will continue to be implemented. If you are not yet comfortable, we understand and hope you'll revisit us soon! We miss you! 🧡

OUR PART:

  • Employees will be monitoring their temperatures daily before work and continuously monitoring for symptoms of COVID-19. Employees will go home and follow all CDC guidelines in the event someone develops symptoms including self-isolation and contact notification. If this occurs, we will be required to re-schedule your appointment.   We do apologize in advance if this happens, but hope you understand it’s for the safety and health of our employees and customers. 

  • Our stations and shampoo bowls will be
    6 feet apart to ensure social distancing guidelines 

  • All tools, stations, chairs, shampoo bowls, dryers or any other contact surfaces will be disinfected with an EPA and State-board approved disinfectant. Employees are prohibited from entering other work stations while a client is present.

  • A pause will be placed on serving beverages and treats in salon at this time. But no worries! You can bring your favorite drinks to enjoy while receiving your service!

  • All towels, smocks and capes will be laundered/disinfected after each use. (As always!)

  • All solid surfaces including door handles, computers, phones, credit card reader etc. consistently throughout the day.

  • Additional training on disinfection and sanitation practices suited to reduce exposure and maintain overall safety regarding COVID-19 during your visit in our salon.

  • Employees will wear approved face masks or face shields while at work. Gloves are optional; adhering to the Board of Cosmetology guidelines.

  • Employees need to wash hands and then sanitize after each client or when stepping away from their work station. 

  • Employees will limit contact with anyone other than their immediate client.

YOUR PART:

  • We will be requiring all clients to wear a mask within the salon. This is part of our opening guidelines. Disposable masks will be available for $1 each. Have your own Mask? No problem! Please note that color may get on your mask if you choose to wear your own. 😷

  • DO NOT bring children or other people with you to your appointments. If you are bringing another person with you who IS receiving services from another stylist, we ask that neither of you stay past the duration of your personal appointment. But don’t worry! Excelsior is beautiful this time of year and you can check out all it has to offer! If your child is under 10 years old and you need to be with them during their appointment, we will do our best to accommodate one parent to be present. No other siblings/ friends will be allowed in the salon. Children must also wear masks.

  • Please reschedule your appointment if you or ANY member of your household has had a fever within the last 24 hours. If a client comes in sick, we will be asking that client to reschedule the appointment until a later, safer date. 

  • Coming sick is NOT an option, services will be rescheduled immediately until after you are well.  If you or ANY person you have come in contact with has had Coronavirus, please wait to reschedule your appointment until AFTER your 14-day quarantine is complete.

  • Our door will remained locked to ensure we stay within the States guidelines of 50% capacity. Please bring only items that you need into the salon. 

  • Client temperatures will be taken upon arrival using a Non-touch Infrared Forehead Thermometer. If your temperature is 99.5 degrees or higher, we will require that you reschedule your appointment.

  • Our staff will help you get your favorite products off the shelf. Please do not touch the products, just ask for assistance, we are happy to help!

  • We are asking our clients to answer the following questions upon arrival to ensure the safety of everyone during your appointment:1)

 

  1. Have you had a cough or a fever?      

  2. Have you, or anyone around anyone exhibiting these symptoms within the past 14 days?

  3. Are you living with anyone who is sick or quarantined?
